This might be easier for you or it might be more difficult. This method is done completely in the DA Toolset.
Now, you should have something on your screen with your character and some standard hair. Tip: Choose your hair color before you start using the More Hairstyles. Either open a head you already made and needs different hair, or make a new one. If you need help creating a head morph I have a tutorial up and there are many others out on the web. (This may have changed with the updated version.) It also contains the 2 Don’t Worry Be Hairy styles for human females. There’s a folder called Unique which features some very interesting styles with hair and jewelry. Tip: You may not be able to access all the hair styles through the in-game Character Generator. If you’re happy doing that, then you can close this tutorial and go play Dragon Age. HOWEVER – if it isn’t working, the most common problem is several Mods share a file and it causes a conflict. These WILL both work with the basic character creator in the game and you don’t have to use them with the Toolset. There are 2 more hair mods, as well, but I haven’t had time to test them, yet. Here’s another which has custom armor, weapons, and some more custom hair. If you’d like to add some extra hairstyles to your Dragon Age characters, I suggest this mod if you don’t have it.
